Enterprise was unable to recover after Caracas went ahead in the top of the 4th inning with 2 runs utilizing 3 base hits. Gary Sheffield kicked off the action when he doubled. Carlos Delgado next to the plate and he stroked a base-hit. After an out was recorded, Todd Pratt came to the plate and would ground out plating a run. Placido Polanco followed and he delivered a single scoring the final run of the inning. Caracas ended up with 13 hits for the game while Enterprise had 4. A.J. Burnett(4-4) was the winner allowing 2 runs in 6 innings. Burnett was helped out by Tim Worrell who recorded his 2nd save. Mark Redman(4-9) took the loss.
